The Five Pillars of Islam are the five core acts of worship that shape a Muslim’s faith and daily life.

The Islamic month of Ramadan is coming to an end on March 19th. Muslims around the world will be celebrating the end of their month of fasting. They expectantly turn their eyes to Eid al-Fitr, which is three days of feasting and celebrating.

The number of Muslims is growing in the U.S., but as the population grows, so does the number of Muslims reporting that they are being mistreated or experiencing bias because of their religion (source). This ranges from suspicion to outright violent attacks.

During Ramadan, Muslims must refrain from eating, drinking, intercourse, lying, and even getting angry each day. Muslims are told that Allah might grant them paradise and pardon their past sins if they complete Ramadan perfectly – of course, this is not guaranteed.

Muslims also fast, but for very different reasons than Christians. Fasting is one of the Five Pillars of Islam. Overall, the Bible and the Quran give totally different instructions on fasting.

Evangelism To Muslims is so important, Possibly, the greatest area in which we have failed in the Great Commission is in not sharing the gospel with Muslims. 

Many Christians have used social media to expand the mission field and reach exponential numbers of people for Christ. Digital media like podcasts, apps, blogs, newsletters, shows, and even movies can be used to spread the gospel.

Since Islam is one of the biggest world religions, Christians should know what it teaches about Jesus. Do Muslims believe in Jesus? What does Islam teach about Jesus?
